About me

I hold an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin City University (DCU) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Turning Point Institute (TPI). In addition to this qualification I continue to train and upskill, attending regular workshops and courses. I have worked as a Bereavement Counsellor with Blackrock Hospice as well as a Psychotherapist with Living Life Counselling Service.

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist which means that I draw on a wide range of theory and practice, allowing me to work in ways that meet the needs of each indivdual client. At the heart of my practice however is the concept that it is within the therapeutic relationship that change can occur. In the words of Irvin Yalom 'It's the relationship that heals'. I provide a safe, non judgemental, confidential and caring environment in which together we can begin to look at and address issues that are causing you pain or distress and agree what approach best suits you, whether it be short term work to look at a specific life event, or deeper work looking at the underlying reasons behind current patterns of behaviour.
